Job Summary
What youll be responsible for:
- Sorting different types of non-ferrous metals
- Classifying non-ferrous materials and identifying the type of material
- Weighing materials
- Operating the forklift
- Performing daily maintenance
- Carrying out general site maintenance
- Keeping property and equipment in good condition
- Cleaning your workspace at the end of your shift
- Entering data into the RECY system
- Providing prices to customers
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Assisting with torch cutting as needed
- Preparing shipments and receiving materials
- Wearing personal protective equipment
Qualifications :

- You have experience operating a forklift (an asset)
- You have experience in metal recycling (an asset)
- You have good knowledge of metals (an asset)
- You are able to work in a dusty environment
- You can work outdoors in all weather conditions
- You are in good physical condition
- You enjoy working safely
