Job Summary
Starting pay: $13.00 USD
JOB SUMMARY
The Showroom Host is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional environment for guests visiting the showroom. This role supports customer service operations by greeting visitors answering questions and providing information about our services. The Showroom Host ensures a positive guest experience while maintaining showroom appearance and assisting the sales team as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include but is not limited to the following)
- Greet customers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Provide basic product or service information and direct guests to appropriate staff
- Maintain a clean organized and presentable showroom environment
- Manage guest check-in and ensure prompt assistance
- Answer incoming calls and respond to general inquiries
- Support the sales team with administrative tasks when needed
- Schedule appointments or demonstrations as required
- Assist in coordinating showroom displays and promotional materials
- Monitor inventory of brochures forms and guest materials

- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills (MS Office or similar)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT (May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position)
- Loading shows may be hectic at times
- Non-smoking showroom
Work may be performed in an area which may be unusually noisy and crowded
Mobility to include bending reaching prolonged standing and walking accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high
Normal sense of smell touch sound and vision range
Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity
Work area is subject to variable temperatures
GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS: Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values service standards and family style service.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/ external guests with service excellence have excellent communication skills and observation skills and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off nights weekends holidays and overtime as needed.
