Job Summary
Leaf Bar & Lounge in Downtown Flushing Queens is looking for one experienced knowledgeable and professional server to join our team. We are located at 133-42 39th Avenue on the roof of the Hyatt Place Hotel.
This is a nightlife job for professionals who are accustomed to working late. The shift starts at 4:30pm and ends at 1:45am on Sunday through Thursday. On Fridays and Saturdays the shift will begin at 4:30pm and end at 3am. Scheduling will be discussed at the interview.
We aim to be the best bar in Flushing and appreciate people who approach the job as a career.
As you know your pay will depend on the quality of your service and the tips you are able to earn.

- You will need to bus your tables and carry heavy bus bins to the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Interact with customers take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Talk about menu
- Assess customer needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Ability to make drinks and also pay attention to customers
- Prepare the bar for service
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Clean the bar after service
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Check customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Adhere to TIPS alcohol training standards
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
- Stay guest focused and provide an excellent guest experience
Qualifications
- TIPS certification
- Food Handlers Permit is a big plus
- A minimum of 3 years of experience
