Job Duties:
About the Team
At Geisinger youll work alongside adedicated multidisciplinary teamof pediatric emergency professionals including:
Over 50 certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine nursesacross the system
In-house Pediatric Hospitalists and Neonatologistsavailable 24/7
Certified Child Life Specialiststo support children and families during care
Advanced practice providers (APPs)and emergency medicine physicians
Fellowship-trained PEM physicianswho lead initiatives in education quality improvement and clinical innovation
Collaborative subspecialty supportfrom nearly every pediatric medical and surgical specialty within our 90-bed childrens hospital
A culture ofteam-based care continuous learning and shared decision-making

Compensation & Benefits
Starting salary: $350000
Fellowship stipend:Calculated at $2500/month from offer acceptance to graduation
Forgivable recruitment loan:$100000 paid in the first month

Qualifications
MD or DOdegree
Board-certified/board-eligiblein Pediatric Emergency Medicine
Completion of anACGME-accredited PEM fellowship
Strong clinical interpersonal and leadership skills
