Job Summary
Intervenor Specialist
Location:Phoenix Az Schedule: Full -Time 7a-3pPay:24hr
Were seeking a compassionate Intervenor Specialist to support a student with deaf-blindness in a classroom setting. This role involves assisting with communication learning activities and daily needs while following the students IEP.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one classroom support.
Implement modifications and communication techniques.
Assist with concept development social interaction and daily care (feeding toileting hygiene).
Collaborate with teachers and IEP team on student progress.
Requirements:
Associates degree or 60 college credits (or para-educator exam).
CPR First Aid and Crisis Intervention (or ability to obtain).
Ability to pass background check or have a Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Willing to learn basic sign language (ASL).
Preferred:
Experience with young children or special education.
Knowledge of Braille a plus.
