Base Location:Fareham

Enerveo have an extensive street lighting business that manages over 1 million street lights across the UK and Ireland and through design project management consultancy installation and maintenance we play a major role in reducing energy consumption and carbon footprints helping towns and cities become smarter greener and more efficient which benefits us all.

What will I be doing in this role
Enerveo is looking for an Operations Manager to lead and develop our Highways Electrical team in Fareham. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering operational excellence across safety finance growth and business assurance while inspiring and managing high-performing teams
In a typical day you could expect to be;
- Safety Leadership: Promoting a positive safety culture ensuring all company and customer safety procedures are followed conducting Depotnet inspections and chairing safety sessions.
- Operational Excellence: Planning prioritising organising and controlling depot operations to achieve business objectives efficiently. Overseeing multiple projects to ensure they are delivered on time within budget and to quality standards.
- Financial & Commercial Management: Managing budgets order books WIP debt and project profitability. Reviewing commercial positions on contracts including variations claims and disputes.
- Business Growth: Working with the Business Development team to identify new customers and opportunities supporting tender processes and contributing to depot growth plans.
- People Management: Recruiting onboarding and developing your team. Managing performance setting objectives providing training mentoring and coaching to ensure high levels of engagement and compliance with HR processes.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensuring regulatory quality and SHE standards are met conducting site inspections and driving continuous improvement across depot operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintaining strong relationships with clients colleagues and subcontractors to deliver an excellent customer experience.
What do I need to be successful in the role
- Experience in contract and project management within PFI or local government frameworks.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams develop talent and drive performance.
- Strong commercial awareness including cost control WIP debt management and financial planning.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office; experience with Excel Word and PowerPoint.
Some of our nice to haves are;
- Relevant qualifications such as CMI/ILM IOSH or NEBOSH are desirable.
