About your role:

Were seeking a seasoned Windows Systems Engineer with a passion for solving complex technical challenges and driving automation to enhance system reliability efficiency and accuracy. This role is critical to managing change monitoring performance and responding to issues across thousands of servers in multiple data centers. You will support a global Windows environment for hosted Fiserv clients ensuring high availability and performance across physical and virtual infrastructures. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute large-scale deployments troubleshoot system issues and automate routine tasks.

What youll do:

• Manage and support Windows operating systems across thousands of servers in multiple data centers.
• Troubleshoot issues related to OS storage networking and performance in a complex Windows environment.
• Perform capacity management and adjust system resources (CPU memory disk) as needed.
• Install uninstall and troubleshoot third-party software programmatically across large server fleets.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell or Python to streamline operational tasks.
• Monitor system health and respond to alerts to ensure maximum uptime.
• Utilize tools such as Service Point SailPoint Splunk and App Map for ticketing reporting and change management.
• Participate in planning and execution of complex infrastructure changes and deployments.

Experience youll need to have:

• 5 years of enterprise systems engineering experience with hands-on expertise in: Windows Server OS () Active Directory DNS Group Policy Failover Clustering IIS SSL Certificates Perfmon Wireshark VMware and vSphere
• 3 years of experience with scripting languages such as Python Bash or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with storage backup and networking technologies.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business and/or equivalent military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills; able to interact professionally with internal clients managers engineers and vendors.
• Solid understanding of ITIL practices including Incident Change and Problem Management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-energy environment with strong composure and crisis-management skills.

How youll work:

• This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis.
• This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado Hawaii Illinois Nevada Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
