Job Summary

This Turn2 Client is afast-growing software company that is hiring a Principal Architect to lead platform architecture and technical strategy across its core digital products. This is the top technical leadership role in the organization ideal for an experienced architect who thrives at the intersection of system design product innovation and hands-on mentorship.

Youll report directly to senior leadership and work closely with product and engineering teams to shape scalable cloud-native platforms used by millions. This is both a strategic and execution-focused role with broad impact across technical direction engineering culture and product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Define platform-wide architecture with a focus on scalability performance and long-term maintainability
Set engineering standards and guide system-level design across teams
Partner with product and executive stakeholders to align technology with business strategy
Lead adoption of modern cloud-native patterns (e.g. serverless microservices event-driven design)
Provide architectural oversight for key initiatives such as data strategy AI/ML integration and system interoperability
Mentor senior engineers and elevate engineering maturity across the org

Ideal Experience

12 years of progressive software engineering experience with at least 5 years in senior or architectural leadership roles
Proven success architecting complex cloud-based SaaS products at scale
Strong experience with modern technologies like Python React AWS containerization and CI/CD
Deep understanding of distributed systems API design authentication/authorization and observability
Comfortable collaborating at the executive level while remaining hands-on with technical delivery
Experience mentoring engineering leaders and shaping a high-performance team culture
