Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Applications Engineer to join the Video Applications team with a focus on advancing both the iPad and Mac this role you will help shape the future of professional video editing. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to build intuitive powerful and performant features that push the boundaries of creative expression. - 5 years of professional experience developing complex applications in Objective-C and/or Swift.
- Strong knowledge of Apples development tools and frameworks including SwiftUI UIKit AVFoundation Core Animation and Core Image.
- Demonstrated experience building high-performance user-facing applications on iOS iPadOS or MacOS.
- Mastery of Swift concurrency patterns and seamless Objective-C interoperability.
- Solid understanding of computer graphics media formats and real-time rendering.
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality software in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving debugging and analytical skills.
- Experience with unit testing continuous integration and engineering best practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical ideas clearly and work collaboratively in a multi-functional team.
- BS or MS in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with media applications graphics applications video editing tools or creative software workflows.
- Experience working in large legacy codebases with incremental modernization goals.
- Able to demonstrate strong application architectural skills.
- Proven record of working closely with Design teams to create innovative UI/UX solutions for professional interfaces.
- Passion for empowering creative professionals and understanding their workflows.
