Shift: 12 hr Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Job Type: Permanent
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable ICU Stepdown RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide care for patients who require close monitoring and frequent assessments utilizing clinical judgment to manage treatment autonomously. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver excellent patient care in a supportive team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient s health or situation.
Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
Use clinical judgment to manage safe and effective patient care.
Monitor critical vital signs and intervene in life-threatening situations.
Educate patients on medications procedures and treatments.
Provide support to patients and families throughout their stay.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ICU Stepdown RN experience. Candidates with 3 years of Cardiac PCU or Multisystem PCU experience are encouraged to apply.
Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida licensure after relocation.
RN Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred.
NIH Stroke Scale certification required within 30 days of start.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Instructor certification required within 30 days of start.
American Heart Association ACLS Provider card required within 6 months of start.
