Job Summary

Role:Business Analyst with Data Analysis

Location:Providence NJ (Hybrid)F2F Interview For 2nd Round

Visa-H1b only

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong data analysis and technical expertise in SQL Python and Snowflake. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams ensuring data-driven insights are translated into actionable business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather analyze and document requirements.
Translate business needs into data models analytical reports and dashboards.
Perform data analysis using SQL and Python to support decision-making.
Extract transform and analyze data stored in Snowflake for business insights.
Design and validate business rules KPIs and metrics.
Work closely with data engineers developers and BI teams to ensure accurate data delivery.
Create functional specifications user stories and process documentation.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure deliverables meet business expectations.
Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business or related field.
4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in data/analytics projects.
Strong expertise in SQL (query writing optimization joins aggregations).
Proficiency in Python for data analysis scripting and automation.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data querying transformations warehouse concepts).
Experience working with BI/reporting tools (Power BI Tableau or similar) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Good to Have:

Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
