Project details: A Network Engineer III - senior-level technical professional responsible for designing implementing and maintaining complex network infrastructure. This role requires advanced expertise in networking technologies and the ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff. A Network Engineer III is a senior-level technical professional responsible for designing implementing and maintaining complex network infrastructure.

Network Design & Implementation
- Design and architect enterprise-level network solutions including LAN WAN wireless and data center networks
- Implement and configure advanced routing and switching protocols (BGP OSPF EIGRP MPLS)
- Deploy and manage network security solutions including firewalls VPNs IDS/IPS systems
- Plan and execute network upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime
Operations & Maintenance
- Monitor network performance and optimize for reliability speed and security
- Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis
- Maintain network documentation including diagrams configurations and standard operating procedures
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with service providers
Security & Compliance
- Implement network security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Conduct network security assessments and vulnerability testing
- Respond to security incidents and implement remediation measures
- Stay current with emerging security threats and mitigation strategies
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead network infrastructure projects from conception to completion
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior network engineers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems security and application teams
Pay rate: $45/hr on W2.
