must live 100 miles away
10 hr shifts.0630-1500. Variable day off throughout the week. Call is required with a 30 min response time. The number of calls are variable.
Call requirements must meet the needs of the department.
Currently the call schedule includes 5 weekday call shift including a friday per 6 week schedule.
Those 5 weekday call shifts are divided between C1 ( 1700-0630) and C2 ( 1700-2100) shifts along with 1 Sat and 1 Sunday (0630-0630) per schedule.
2 YEARS ACUTE CARE O.R. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - do not submit without
Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program Required
BSN - Highly desired
PALS BLS & ACLS Required
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required
The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess plan implement and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients families and member of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure. Assembles equipment supplies and ensures equipment is functional and supplies/implants are available.
