Job Title: Fidessa Engineer
Location: Midtown Manhattan NY (Hybrid 3 days onsite/week)
Contract Length: 24 Months (Permanent conversion possible after 12 months)
Pay Rate: $80 $90/hr W2

Overview:

Our clients Equities Cash Technology team is seeking two experienced Fidessa Developers to support institutional and retail equities trading desks. This is a hands-on development role focused on enhancing and maintaining trading applications built on the Fidessa platform. Candidates must have strong Fidessa implementation experience and a deep understanding of its architecture and components.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and support multiple Fidessa-based trading systems
Integrate Fidessa systems into the broader Bank of America technology ecosystem
Perform regular upgrades of Fidessa components with custom configurations
Collaborate with business analysts project managers and developers to meet business and regulatory requirements
Onboard systems to DevOps CI/CD pipelines

Required Skills:

3 years of Fidessa server-side development experience
Proficiency with Fidessa Product Suite: CASE FBL TOP (OMAR TMAR PMAC) PAIRS NMS FIX APAS FDA
Strong understanding of FIX protocol
Scripting: TCL Unix shell
Platforms: Linux Windows 10
Agile SDLC experience
Solid grasp of equities trading workflows and market structure
Strong analytical and system integration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision

Desired Skills:

3 years of Core Java development experience
Hands-on experience with FDA and Sybase
FTW development experience is a strong plus

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
