Job Title: Inventory Clerk
Client: Food Manufacturing Company
Location: Cedar Rapids IA 52404
Duration: 1.5 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Shift: 1st Shift Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Position Overview
The Inventory Clerk Lv3 will support day-to-day warehouse and production inventory operations including sampling documentation and data entry. This role requires attention to detail accuracy in record-keeping and collaboration with shipping receiving and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Sample and test grain trucks to ensure quality standards.
- Enter grain test results into computer systems accurately.
- Review and match Bills of Lading (BOLs) for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Verify liquid tanker truck seals and complete load compartment inspection forms.
- Maintain and update inventory records for finished products and raw materials.
- Capture and store photo documentation as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced busy environment.
- Basic computer proficiency - data entry MS Outlook and inventory systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Positive flexible and team-oriented attitude.
- Quick learner with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
Work Environment
- Onsite role within a food manufacturing and grain handling facility.
- May require standing for extended periods and performing light physical tasks.
