PAY RATE: $74-78/hour

Summary:

• Lead the development testing and maintenance of web applications that meet industry customer safety and regulatory standards.

• Lead the review analysis and translation of customer requirements into initial software design.

• Coordinate the development maintenance enhancement and optimization of software products and system integrations.

• Lead the development documentation and maintenance of architectures requirements algorithms interfaces and designs for software products.

• Participate in the agile software development lifecycle including planning reviews and customer meetings.

• Debug and lead resolution of technical issues to ensure software reliability and efficiency.

• Lead handling of user inquiries troubleshooting and user feedback analysis.

• Research and implement current and emerging technologies tools frameworks and regulatory changes relevant to software development.

• Lead the development monitoring and improvement of software processes tools and key performance metrics to align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.

• Execute and document software R&D projects.

• Provide consultation on software domains system-specific issues processes and regulations.

• Lead software project management and supplier management activities.

• Track and evaluate software team and supplier performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance required (must have been active within the past 24 months).

• Typically requires advanced technical education (Bachelors or higher) in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry plus 9 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination (e.g. PhD 4 years Masters 7 years). ABET accreditation preferred but not required.

• 3 years of experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

• 3 years of experience in Python.

• Experience with software architecture principles and design patterns.

• Experience with agile software development and structured development processes.

• Bachelors degree in a STEM field.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 7 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Bachelor of Science in engineering engineering technology chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science from an accredited program.

• Experience leading an agile software development team.

• Experience with relational databases.

• Experience with React Django Flask or FastAPI.

• Experience with infrastructure tooling including Docker Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience building regression test suites.
