Were looking for strategic and detail-driven Workforce Planners to join our team in Newcastle. If you thrive on solving complex puzzles balancing people performance and budgets and love making data work for real-world results this is your role.

About the Role

Youll be at the heart of our workforce operations designing master and operational rosters that are award-compliant cost-effective and operationally sound. Your insights will help us match workforce supply with service demand while ensuring accurate time and attendance records for payroll and service claims.

What Youll Be Doing

• Spotting workforce trends and seasonal shifts
• Monitoring and analysing performance metrics across services
• Building rosters that balance customer needs compliance and budgets
• Managing leave replacements and onboarding support
• Solving roster gaps and shift changes with agility
• Engaging with internal teams and agencies to fill vacancies
• Responding to roster queries with professionalism and care
• Driving continuous improvement in systems processes and culture
• Partnering with service teams to deliver workforce planning that works

About You

Youre analytical organised and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You bring:

• Proven experience in workforce planning and 24/7 rostering
• Strong understanding of Awards and Enterprise Agreements
• Solid Excel and MS Office skills
• A knack for spotting trends and solving problems
• Confidence in managing calls and influencing outcomes
• A collaborative mindset and stakeholder engagement skills
• A commitment to balancing customer financial and workforce needs
• Be able to obtain (or have already) National Police Check Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (as needed)
