We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team in Hopewell VA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with bench wiring electrical assembly and the use of hand and power tools. This position involves assembling and wiring electrical components following schematics and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform bench wiring and electrical assembly according to drawings and schematics

Use hand tools such as crimpers wire strippers and screwdrivers

Operate power tools for drilling tapping and general assembly work

Interpret and work from mechanical and electrical drawings

Conduct basic testing and verification using multimeters and gauges

Follow detailed work procedures checklists and safety protocols

Assemble and box finished equipment weighing between 10 and 40 lbs

Maintain an organized clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

Bench wiring experience required

Ability to read and understand basic mechanical and electrical schematics

Experience with hand and power tools in an assembly environment

Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Ability to lift and handle parts up to 40 lbs

Dependable punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
