Job Summary
Advantech GS Enterprises is seeking a Business Analyst to support the DISA NEXUS program at Fort Meade. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with experience in requirements gathering process improvement Agile/Scrum delivery and IT systems analysis. The ideal candidate will partner closely with program stakeholders technical teams and leadership to streamline workflows enhance ServiceNow processes and support the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders developers and product owners to gather analyze and document business and technical requirements.
- Serve as a liaison between government clients and the technical delivery team to ensure alignment of requirements with program objectives.
- Support ServiceNow platform enhancements including workflow automation data integrity and integration with other enterprise systems.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning stand-ups retrospectives) and assist in maintaining product backlogs and user stories.
- Support Scrum Master duties as neededfacilitating communication removing blockers and ensuring sprint goals are met.
- Document functional and technical specifications throughout the SDLC ensuring traceability and compliance with DoD and DISA standards.
- Utilize GitLab for version control requirements tracking and collaborative documentation of system updates.
- Assist in defining and improving processes related to cloud data workflows change management and system modernization.
- Perform impact and gap analyses for new functionality or configuration changes.
- Collaborate with testing teams to validate requirements and confirm deliverables meet acceptance criteria.
Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance (required)
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Information Systems or related field
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role supporting federal IT or defense programs
- Proven experience working in Agile and SDLC environments including sprint-based delivery
- Familiarity with ServiceNow including incident request and change management modules
- Experience with GitLab or similar DevOps tools for requirements tracking and documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (e.g. RMF STIGs) is preferred
