Job Summary
Position : Design Engineer
Experience: 4.5 years of hands on product design development experience
Qualification: BE/BTech Mechanical Engineering
Location : Cochin
Salary: 6-14 Lacs
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Design Engineer will be involved in mechanical product design which is performed using CAD/CAE and other engineering tools. He/she will interface with Design Engineering Process Engineering Signal Integrity Engineering and relevant manufacturing entity in order to design and sustain cost effective high quality interconnects solution meeting customer’s next generation requirements.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE ACCOMPLISHED:
* Preparation of drawings complying with industry drawing standards.
* Participate in development of new products and product improvements with disciplined focus in product engineering design of connector solution.
* Design and develop quality product and ensuring manufacturability with other engineering functions involved in product development.
* Improve product designs to bring about reduction in manufacturing cost.
SKILLS REQUIRED
CAD/CAE tools: Creo Solid works AutoCAD
PLM tools: Windchill
Familiar with engineering drawing standards
Experience in using PCB design software Altium and rendering tools like Blender Keyshot
Maxwell Rendering 3ds max etc will be an added advantage
