Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality dental care and treatment to patients in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Conduct thorough examinations diagnose dental conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including restorative cosmetic and surgical treatments.
- Administer medications and anesthetics as necessary ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene preventive care and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other team members to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records following all regulations and guidelines.
- Stay updated on dental practices and innovations participating in continuing education as necessary.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures in all patient interactions.
Essential Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree in Dentistry from an accredited DDS/DMD program (Canadian or American dental institutions).
- Current dental license and certification to practice in the state of Washington.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on patient care and comfort.
- Knowledge of medications used in dentistry oral and maxillofacial surgery and sedation techniques.
Desired Experience:
- Prior experience in a dental practice is preferred but not mandatory for passionate candidates.
- Hands-on experience with cosmetic dentistry and treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Familiarity with the management of dental caries and the use of antibiotics in dental treatments.
