Job Description:

The Air Quality Technician III is responsible for daily maintenance and repair of H.V.A.C & R equipment and related systems. Effective and efficient operation of the above-mentioned equipment and systems help to promote a safe and comfortable living learning and working environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Minimum of five (5) years experience performing advanced level troubleshooting on H.V.A.C & R equipment associated systems and Direct Digital Controls

Ability to use math read and write common vocabulary and understand manuals and verbal instruction.

Maintain a valid drivers license and must be insurable under UT driving policies.

Ability to interpret blueprints and use this information to troubleshoot equipment and systems.

Possess the ability to work independently and function as a team member in a dynamic facility maintenance environment.

Ability to use hand and power tools as they relate to HVAC/R and maintenance.

Ability to apply principles to solve a variety of everyday practical problems.

Work well with hands and with close tolerances.

Must possess the ability to develop shop work schedules and complete cost estimates for construction projects.
