The Department of Philosophy in the Colleges of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) or Associate Professor (tenure-eligible) to begin August 15 2026. Area of Specialization (AOS): Philosophy and Artificial department is looking for someone who will teach and pursue an active research program focused on artificial intelligence but welcomes applications from candidates approaching this topic from a variety of subfields in philosophy. Candidates working in more than one area of specialization are especially encouraged to of Competence (AOC): Open. We seek a promising scholar who will pursue a vigorous research program teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels and take a full part in the normal activities of the department.
