As a Locum CRNA you will provide high-quality anesthesia care to patients collaborating closely with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals. Your role is crucial in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
- Manage anesthesia-related emergencies and complications
- Provide post-anesthesia care and evaluate patient recovery
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
- Document anesthesia care and maintain accurate patient records
- Participate in continuing education and professional development
Requirements
- Associate degree in Nursing or a related field
- Current CRNA certification and valid nursing license
- Experience in anesthesia practice preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Flexibility to adapt to changing clinical situations
Flexible Schedule: 8-hour shifts available Monday-Friday
No call requirement
Patient Census: 10 per shift
100% GI cases
Must be board-certified
