Education
- Associates Bachelors Masters or diploma in the Nursing Field required
Certification/Licensure
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIH Stroke Scale
Experience
- Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN Emergency care experience.
Unit Overview
In 2021 our department was awarded the Lantern Award through ENA (Emergency Nurses Association)
Our hospital has been a Magnet Hospital since 2016
We are a 45 bed ED unit with 65 treatment spaces.
Department FTEs: 92 FTEs (approx. 130 employees)
