Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and dedicated TGT Social Science Teacher to join our CBSE school in Nashik. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Social Studies and a passion for teaching students of middle and secondary grades.
Responsibilities
Teach Social Science (History Geography Civics and Economics) to classes VIX as per the CBSE curriculum.
Prepare lesson plans teaching materials and classroom activities.
Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
Create an engaging and positive learning environment.
Support and guide students in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
Attend staff meetings training sessions and school events.
Ensure discipline and adherence to school policies.
Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Arts (History / Geography / Political Science / Economics) with .
Prior teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
Good communication and classroom management skills.
Proficiency in English.
Required Skills:
Qualifications and Experience Essential Bachelors or Masters degree in English Literature English Language or a related field. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in English at the secondary or higher secondary level. Strong understanding of literary analysis stylistics and communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Familiarity with or willingness to undergo training in the IB curriculum framework. Proficiency in technology for teaching and assessment. Ability to create engaging student-centered lessons. Desirable Prior experience teaching IBDP English (Language & Literature or Literature) HL/SL. IB Category 1 or 2 training certification. Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE English Language or Literature. Experience mentoring Extended Essay or other independent research projects.
