We equip our colleagues and pharmacies with the right tools environment and guidance to deliver prescription items safely & accurately - whether in-store online in care homes or at home.As a Pharmacy Operations Lead you will be reporting to the Pharmacy Operations Manager and work collaboratively with various teams and stake holders while engaging with the wider Pharmacy programs to ensure compliance consistency operational delivery and continuous improvement. You will ensure the effective design implementation and communication of operational processes that enhance service delivery and customer experience across Boots pharmacies to support strategic business growth by enabling a robust and scalable operating platform.Key responsibilities of the role:- Work closely with colleagues in the wider Pharmacy Function to share knowledge and experience to help resolve issues improve processes and widen expertise across the team
- Develop and deliver clear concise operational guidance to pharmacy teams to ensure consistent and efficient implementation of new processes.
- Present data and information relating to projects/initiatives to stakeholders and share data-led insights to influence decisions track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure continuous review evaluation and update of existing guidance for store to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- Support stores and field teams in embedding new processes and resolving operational challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design and refine pharmacy workflows and service models
- Lead and manage transformation projects within Pharmacy Operations ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.
- Act as a key link for project updates changes and guidance across internal teams.
- Work closely with stores to seek feedback review pilot progress and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design and refine pharmacy workflows and service models.
To be successful in the role you will need to have:- Excellent knowledge and experience of Pharmacy Operations in store and have great customer care skills.
- Experience leading complex projects
- High concern for order quality and efficiency
- Ability prioritise effectively through Project Management principles.
- Act and lead with autonomy and independence in most of your workload
- Demonstrate the Boots Leadership behaviours and be comfortable with seeking receiving and giving feedback.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
It would be great if you also have:- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Presentation skills
