Role: Model Risk Management Intern

Location: Hybrid Atlanta GA

This position will be part of GreenSkys Model Risk Management team.

• Conduct independent validations and reviews of financial models used in various business areas such as credit finance capital markets fraud and compliance.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of model input data assumptions methodologies and outputs.
• Craft model validation reports in accordance with MRM policy guidelines and documentation template.
• Stay abreast of changing market conditions regulatory environments and evolving industry practice in modeling and model risk management.

• Advanced degree in Analytics Quantitative Finance Economics Mathematics Statistics Engineering or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of mathematical and statistical theories data analytics and ability to understand business contexts.
• Proficient programming skills in Python R SQL etc.
• Strong ability in verbal and written communication.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in handling large and complex datasets using Python or similar programming languages
• Familiarity with AI/Gen AI concepts passion for learning fast-evolving techniques and ability to use fine-tune and test popular large language models

Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base hourly rate for this role is $20.00 per hour for students pursuing an undergraduate degree and $25.00 per hour for students pursuing a graduate degree.
