Curant Health is searching for a Shipping Supervisor to join its team in Smyrna GA. This position is primarily responsible for managing the logistics of the prescription shipping process within the pharmacy. This role acts as the primary supervisor and trainer in the Shipping Department and serves as the Subject Matter Expert when required. The Shipping Supervisor also serves as a critical link between the Patient Engagement and Pharmacy Operations Teams to ensure patients and providers receive medication in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

With your passion for leadership your drive to make an impact on patient care and your commitment to excellence you will guide and support our shipping team. A few of your responsibilities include:

Manage shipping vendors oversee shipping documentation and ensure accurate data entry into internal systems.
Supervise and balance workflow across the shipping department and point-of-sale area.
Communicate with departments regarding payment declines and package requirements.
Oversee order assembly packing and shipment preparation.
Track deliveries manage returns and coordinate with carriers to resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards including URAC ACHC and NABP.
Act as department Subject Matter Expert on shipping/tracking systems analytics and package investigations.
Train coach and provide refresher training to shipping staff and interns.
Supervise shipping employees including hiring scheduling evaluating performance and resolving department concerns.
Safely operate a manual pallet jack and maintain a clean organized pharmacy/warehouse.
Provide administrative and cross-team support when required.
Meet or exceed productivity and quality metrics/KPIs.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum one (1) year in a Senior Shipping & Receiving Clerk role at Curant Health with performance rated as Meets or Exceeds Expectations (exceptions may be considered based on performance).
At least 23 years of supervisory or management experience required.
Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
340B knowledge is a plus.
Strong knowledge of HIPAA / Patient Confidentiality Guidelines.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Experience with Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook.
Ability to safely operate a manual pallet jack to move and organize materials.
Previous mail-order pharmacy experience preferred.
