Always Best Care of Fairfax provides client-centered personalized care to all of our clients. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate care professional to join our team and provide meaningful support to a client receiving hospice care at home.
Position Overview
We are looking for a gentle empathetic and experienced CNA to provide in-home support for a client who is now receiving end-of-life care following a period of cancer treatment. This part-time role offers the opportunity to bring comfort dignity and peace to someone in their final chapter of life.
The ideal candidate will have a calm and nurturing presence with experience in hospice or palliative care. Responsibilities include personal care companionship light housekeeping and emotional supportall delivered with sensitivity respect and compassion.

Primary Responsibilities
- Provide gentle respectful personal care tailored to the clients comfort and needs
- Offer companionship and emotional support to both the client and their family
- Assist with daily living activities including assistance with eating and hygiene
- Maintain a peaceful and supportive environment in the home
- Collaborate with hospice professionals and family members to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Preferred Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with active license in the state of Virginia
- Experience in hospice palliative or end-of-life care preferred
- Compassionate patient and emotionally attuned to the needs of clients and families
- Physically able to assist with transfers using gait belts or other mobility aids
- Valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation
