Provide lease analyst support to Land Department. Process new leases contracts drafts and assignments including file setup mapping and computer input. Recording copying and transmittal of correspondence to Houston Land Administration (HLA). Monthly review of calendars (obligations rentals expirations elections etc.) with Landmen. Prepare check requests for assignments agreements etc. Prepare various monthly Land Reports. Follow-up on inquiries from HLA and landowners. Assist in preparation of various regulatory applications. Title research and curative as directed by Landmen. Assist in preparation of various documents.
Bachelors degree and 5 years of oil & gas land experience preferred. Must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to handle a heavy workload and meet critical deadlines. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to learn new software. Knowledge of ArcView and Dwights PI is a plus. Must possess excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal. A high school diploma or GED is required.
Position will be filled a level commensurate with experience.
