Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary team lead in the risk management process ensuring execution to the process early identification of risks and opportunities with appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Acts as cost account management for multiple teams with a strong understanding of integrated scheduling and Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
  • Lead team in change management activities across internal and external customer changes.
  • Work directly with subject matter experts across the business to quickly iterate and converge on achievable solutions that meet our customers needs.
  • Develop solutions to previously unsolved problems as our development timelines are aggressive.
  • Leads others and directs phases of assigned cross-organizational or business unit projects demonstrating proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (e.g. PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge PMBOK ANSI and ISO standards).
  • Ensures assigned individuals are executing the identified and assigned tasks and providing appropriate tracking and reporting per plan.
  • Provides in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans.
  • Develops solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation.
  • Work both as an individual contributor and as a team lead to drive collaboration across multiple projects and products.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

This is a NASA safety-sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors Degree or higher
  • 5 years of experience performing in a leadership role
  • 3 years of experience developing and/or maintaining integrated schedules
  • 3 years of experience working with the planning & scheduling processes cost analysis and EVMS
  • 3 years of experience analyzing data creating reports and presenting results

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Current CAPM (Certified Associate of Project Management) or PMP Certification
  • Experience working on space launch vehicle and/or aircraft programs

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel: Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
