About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teaching Specialist (Clinical Practitioner) to join our team with a primary focus on delivering high-quality teaching informed by contemporary clinical practice. This role plays a key part in advancing the Universitys strategic vision Making a Difference: The 2025 Agenda which is centred on fostering a student-focused learning environment and producing career-ready graduates who are prepared to make meaningful contributions to society.

As a Lecturer in Paramedicine you will contribute to excellence in teaching and learning across the Bachelor of Paramedicine program within the College of Medicine and Public Health. You will serve as the primary academic liaison for Paramedicine in the Northern Territory coordinating key aspects of the NT academic program and enhancing the student learning experience through innovative teaching practices and technologies.

About You

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:

  • Clinical qualifications in Paramedicine and eligibility for registration with the Paramedicine Board of Australia (PBA)/AHPRA

  • Active engagement with professional organisations and commitment to ongoing development

  • Use of teaching strategies that support student success and learning outcomes

  • Advanced clinical practice experience and/or qualifications

  • Strong understanding of assessment methods and a commitment to student-centred learning
