Description of the role:
University Home Care is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Home Care Attendant. This role involves providing compassionate and personalized care to individuals in their homes assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks including showering dressing and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings if needed
Requirements:
- Able to work independently
- Able to follow directions without an issue
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients
- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
