Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring compliance with national and state licensing requirements by managing timely renewals and supporting agents through the licensing process. Facilitates agent training including AHIP and carrier-specific modules to maintain RTS status. Coordinates educational training logistics with the Agent Development Manager and provides enrollment support by reviewing applications for accuracy submitting them within CMS timeframes and tracking their progress. Manages resolution of rejected or RFI applications and maintains detailed records of submissions. Oversees essential business system payments to prevent service interruptions and conducts regular inventory checks to optimize supply levels. Provides cross-functional support to other departments as needed.

Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintain national licensing to ensure all state licenses are renewed before expiration.
  • Support agents in acquiring state licenses through guidance on state-specific requirements for both individual and agency licenses.
  • Guide agents through the annual training requirements both AHIP and carrier specific to ensure maintenance of their RTS status.
  • Work with Agent Development Manager to coordinate the logistics of scheduling all educational trainings.
  • Provide enrollment support
  • Scrub applications for completeness and accuracy.
  • Fax paper applications to the proper department within CMS mandated time frames.
  • Maintain a list of all faxed applications.
  • Cross reference submitted applications with carrier generated enrollment reports to ensure applications are received and processed in a timely manner.
  • Follow up on applications that do not show in reporting.
  • Manage the notification and assist with resolution of rejected and RFI applications.
  • Track and manage payment of essential business systems to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Conduct routine inventory checks of office supplies sales materials promotional items etc. to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Forecast supply orders based on current market trends.
  • Provide support to other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of previous work experience in a similar role.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of health insurance with a concentration in Medicare.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail.
