Lancashire County Council is seeking a dedicated Registered Managerto lead one of our Childrens Residential Homes based in Rawtenstall. You will be based at a 6-Bedroom Mainstream home with a long-standing record of excellence. The home is fully staffed with an experienced long standing cohesive team. This is a unique opportunity to shape a nurturing safe and empowering environment for young people while driving excellence in care and leadership.

What Youll Be Doing...

  • Lead the home in line with theChildrens Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015
  • Act as the legallyRegistered Managerunder the Care Standards Act 2000
  • Ensure the home operates according to itsStatement of Purpose meeting the assessed needs of young people
  • Champion safeguarding care planning and continuous improvement
  • Recruit mentor and manage a high-performing staff team
  • Drive quality assurance and performance management across the service
  • Promote young peoples rights and ensure their voices are heard

What Were Looking For...

  • QCF Level 5 or NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care(or equivalent)
  • Aformal management qualificationand experience in residential childcare
  • Proven leadership in managing staff and delivering high-quality care
  • Strong knowledge of childrens legislation and safeguarding protocols
  • Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to equality diversity and health & safety
