The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking Mid-Level Procurement Agents to support our team based out of Huntington Beach California.
In this role you will collaborate with subject matter experts in supply chain management. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting our emergent operations shop by addressing complex supply chain challenges within tight timeframes. This shop provides support for both commercial and government sectors.
Position Responsibilities:
- Integrate program customer product and in-service strategies into source selection negotiation and contracting strategies
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions
- Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
- Conduct risk issues and opportunities management
- Manage supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and financial performance
- Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3 years of experience working Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW)
- 3 years of experience in cross-functional leadership collaborative problem solving building lasting relationships and proficiency in written/verbal communication
- 3 years of experience strategic thinking and leadership skills
- 3 years of experience establishing improving and reinforcing functional discipline for first time quality performance on-time delivery and productivity improvements
- 3 years of experience in Procurement
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience as a Procurement Agent is desired
- Experience with Boeing Internal Fabrication shops/processes
