Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing mid-to-large commercial accounts with a focus on charter school and higher education clients. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary expert resource for clients providing exceptional service and strategic solutions to meet their risk management and insurance needs.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients addressing inquiries related to risk management coverage contractual issues and compliance particularly within the Charter School industry.
- Analyze client data conduct market comparisons and strategize on coverage options exclusions premiums and commission rates.
- Negotiate with carriers to secure optimal terms for clients.
- Support marketing and new business development efforts including preparing presentations and proposals.
- Participate in and/or lead client and prospective client meetings.
- Delegate and oversee office administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: 5-7 years in a Commercial Lines Account Manager role with preference for candidates with team leadership experience.
- Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with ImageRight and Sagitta software is a plus but not mandatory.
- Soft Skills: Strong team collaboration excellent communication and the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
