- Manage various projects involving modifications to machinery and safety guard installations in our plants.
- Coordinate project activities manage their timelines and budgets.
- Manage the bidding process for design and construction.
- Award contracts through the purchasing department.
- Plan and monitor the work.
- Work closely with various engineering health and safety production and maintenance departments.
- Provide monthly reports on the progress of activities.
Qualifications :
- Project management experience (minimum 2 years)
- Proficiency in English and French (oral and written)
- Leadership skills
- Must be available for travel
- Detail-oriented rigorous and analytical
- Strong organizational and priority management skills
- Member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec)
- Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate meetings with internal departments and external engineering firms
- Experience in mechanical design
- Knowledge of the RSST (Regulation respecting occupational health and safety) and various machine safety standards (an asset)
