Job Summary

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Lévis Quebec Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. As a Metal Cutting Laborer you will be responsible for cutting metal plates using an oxyfuel cutting system (torch).

What youre responsible for:

Inspect equipment at the start of each shift
Ensure equipment is in good working order and report any anomalies to your immediate supervisor
Analyze the work environment before using the torch to cut oversized metal parts according to department requirements
Proceed with dismantling while respecting the integrity of the metals in order to maximize their value
Keep the premises clean at all times
Perform any other related tasks as requested

Qualifications :

To join our team:

You have experience working with metal cutting or using cutting tools (an asset).
You have a good knowledge of metals (an asset)
You are well aware of occupational health and safety (OHS) rules
You are in good physical condition and have good manual skills
You are independent methodical and proactive
You are diligent conscientious and demonstrate good judgment in your work
You are comfortable working outdoors 100% of the time in a noisy and dusty environment with varying weather conditions (heat or cold
