Job Summary
Medical Billing Coordinator

Experience & Skills Required:
Minimum 1-3 years of recent experience in medical billing required
Familiarity with EMRs; Preferred experience with Ensora (Fusion) Web Clinic
Prior medical office experience
Knowledge of full revenue cycle (processing claims resolving denials maximizing reimbursement A/R) No coding knowledge necessary
Proficient in Outlook Microsoft Office (Excel Word Teams)
The ability to make confident decisions and think critically
Essential Functions:
Checking each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discount.
Following up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe.
Preparing reviewing and transmitting claims using billing software including electronic and paper claim processing.
Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments.
Identifying and billing secondary or tertiary insurances.
Reviewing accounts for insurance of patient follow-up.
Researching and appealing denied claims.
Answering all patient or insurance telephone inquiries pertaining to assigned accounts.
Setting up patient payment plans and work collection accounts.
Updating billing software with rate changes. Updating cash spreadsheets and running collection reports.
Job Type: Full-time (30hr/wk minimum)
Pay: Starts at $20/ hr.

Hours and Location
- 423 N McLean Blvd Wichita KS 67203 (In Delano close to downtown Wichita)
- Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (flexibility in hours after completion of training)
- On-site with potential for hybrid flexibility after completion of training
