Job Summary
Dual role MRI Tech/XRay Tech position*Would consider a candidate if they were registry eligible for MR meaning they know the modality and how to scan alone. This position will be the only MR tech on shift so they would need to be proficient in both modalities.*REQUIREMENTS:ARRT(R)(MR)BLS2 years exp in specialtyPrevious travel exp preferredDual role MRI Tech/XRay Tech position. Independently or under the direct supervision of a physician performs radiology procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images while keeping patient welfare confidentiality and comfort a top priority. Operate Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanner(s) within all guidelines of MRI safety. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of MRI safety zones and practices all safety guidelines. Explain MRI procedures to patient/family for ultimate success of exam. Administer appropriate contrast media intravenously and accurately evaluate images to ensure quality and diagnostic status of certs: BLS ARRT(MR)(R)
