Job Summary
This paraprofessional position is located at Halifax Elementary School in Halifax MA and reports to the is a long term substitute appointment Monday - Friday beginning in December and expected to last at least 2 months.
The position is a special education paraprofessional who:
- is responsible for working with students in grades Kindergarten through sixth.
- is responsible for working with students in the inclusion setting sub seperate as well a pull-out setting as needed.
- support students academically emotionally and behaviorally.
The ideal candidate:
- should have at least a high school degree
- should be able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
- will collaborate with other staff members.
- should bewilling and take professional development offered by the district.
