Compensation: $1345.50 per week (Local)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Special Education Teacherfor an exciting Local job in Ashburn VA.
Responsibilities
Support educators in the implementation of evidence-based instructional practices and SDI.
Ensure adherence to Virginias Regulations Governing Special Education Programs.
Partner with teachers administrators and parents to develop and monitor instructional supports.
Assist in planning and delivering professional development related to special education methodologies.
Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications
Required:
Collegiate Professional License with endorsement(s) in Special Education or related field.
Preferred:
Administrative endorsement and/or Special Education leadership certification.
Knowledge of evidence-based instructional methodologies (e.g. multisensory structured literacy approaches).
Strong understanding of curriculum content and instructional strategies specific to specially designed instruction.
