Job Summary
JOB TITLE (#2812):Neurologist- Brooklyn NY
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Neurologistto fill an opening with an Article 28 facility located in Brooklyn New York
Requirementsof theNeurologist:
- Must have an active NY State License
- Must be Board Certified
- Must be credentialed with Medicaid (required) and Medicare (preferred)
- Must have at least 2 years of experience
Benefitsof theNeurologist:
- The salary for this position is $320000 - $380000/yr (negotiable)
- This is a Part-time position (no specific days)
Responsibilitiesof theNeurologist:
- Diagnose complex medical problems by referring to a patients history examining them and conducting neurological tests.
- Counsel patients on neurological disorders and their backgrounds.
- Order neurological tests and interpret the results of neuroimaging studies.
- Prescribe and/or administer treatment and medication.
- Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication.
- Order supportive care services for patients.
- Participate in neuroscience research activities.
- Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
- Keep up-to-date with neurological developments treatments and medication.
- Perform specialized treatments such as sleep disorders neuroimmunology neuro-oncology behavioral neurology and neurogenetics.
- Perform and interpret lumbar punctures electroencephalography electromyography and nerve conduction velocity tests.
