As the Assistant Director of Sales (m/f/d) for our Hilton Hotels in Austria you will play a vital role in driving our business forward. Your primary focus is on the development and acquisition of new customers while also supporting and leading your team to success. You will manage and support an assigned customer portfolio across all Sales Managed segments actively seeking new opportunities and nurturing existing relationships. Your role will involve frequent national and international travel as you organize sales trips and participate in trade fairs to expand our reach. You will be co-responsible for sales promotion activities within your area and for ensuring smooth operations within your department and team. Building strong internal business relationships with Hilton Worldwide Sales will be essential as you work to achieve our collective goals.

AsAssistant Director of Sales (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the development and acquisition of new customers support your team and take on the following tasks for our Hilton Hotels in Austria:

  • Classic key account management and maintenance of the existing customer base
  • Acquisition of new customers
  • Participation in international trade fairs and sales trips in the specified markets
  • Identifying potentials by continuously analyzing the markets and the activities of our competitors as well as developing measures to exploit these potentials
  • Assistance in the creation and implementation of action plans
  • Personal and telephone sales calls in the specified markets
  • Participation in customer events in-house promotions and site inspections
  • Analyzing and preparing reports and monthly reports
  • Induction and training of new employees
  • Assistance in the creation and management of the sales budget
  • Ongoing review of business plans recognizing gaps and taking proactive measures to achieve set targets

Besides your passion for the hotel industry and your team spirit you bring the following with you:

  • Adequate tourism studies and several years of experience in comparable positions
  • Experience in leading a team
  • A strategic and forward-looking way of working as well as strong analytical skills to recognize and respond to competitive trends
  • A goal-oriented way of working very good self-organization and excellent time management skills
  • You can complete tasks within clear deadlines and set priorities
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as an excellent appearance
  • You are flexible and open to new challenges willing to learn & interested in constantly developing yourself further
  • You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills additional foreign languages are an advantage
  • High customer orientation & willingness to provide service
  • You want to take on responsibility in the relevant area of responsibility and show a willingness to perform and a high level of self-motivation
  • Willingness to travel - at least 30% of your work will consist of international business trips

Your monthly gross minimum salary (according to the collective agreement FT for employees in the hotel and catering industry) starts at 3400.00 whereby we guarantee you an over payment depending on your qualifications.
