Join us as a Software Engineer and help design the fuel of the future! In this role you will play a key part in developing and scaling software solutions for advanced hardware set-ups involved in the manufacturing characterization and positioning of fusion targets. You will collaborate with a passionate team where vibrant teamwork is the foundation for creating world-changing technology.

What Youll Do:

Lead organize or support projects from start to finish
Set and gather requirements for software and hardware projects
Design software architectures and frameworks for real-time applications
Develop robust reliable and maintainable software for hardware systems
Participate in code reviews and uphold high code quality standards
Develop scalable interfaces for users and applications
Troubleshoot and debug software/hardware applications
Collaborate cross-functionally to solve extraordinary technical challenges

Who You Are:

Bachelors degree in computer science physics mathematics or similar (Masters degree preferred)
Job experience preferred but not required
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Proficient in at least one of these programming languages: C/C or Python
Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices
Experience with databases and Linux operating systems
Proficient with Git for version control and team collaboration
Preferred: Familiarity with calibration localization and motion planning
Preferred: Experience with ROS/ROS2
Preferred: Knowledge of computer vision and machine learning
Capable of clear communication and able to work both independently and with team goals in mind
Methodical organized and proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
Strong hands-on mentality and attention to project details
Adaptable startup mindset and ready to thrive in a dynamic environment
