Job Summary
Position Title:Registered Respiratory Therapist - CWR -Travel
Location:Neptune NJ
Job Type:Contract Travel
Shift:Night (7:00 PM 7:30 AM 3x12-hour shifts/week weekends/holidays as required on-call not required)
Hours per Week:36
Hourly Pay:$55$57/hour
Weekly Pay:$1980.00$2052.00/week

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures under medical direction.
- Perform and manage intubations ventilator setups and ventilator management for critically ill patients.
- Evaluate and monitor patients respiratory status and adjust care plans as needed.
- Provide patient and caregiver education regarding respiratory conditions treatments and home care practices.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Accurately document all procedures patient responses and interventions per hospital policy.
- Maintain operate and troubleshoot respiratory therapy equipment.
- Adhere to infection control safety standards and departmental procedures.
- Manage 1012 ventilators per shift as assigned.
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as required.
Qualifications:
- Education:High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Current New Jersey Respiratory Care License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (NJ)
- AHA BLS ACLS and PALS certifications (required)
- Experience & Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment and ventilator management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing patient needs in a high-acuity setting
- Excellent teamwork communication and patient-care focus
