Job Summary

Location:Pentagon Northern Virginia (On-Site)
Clearance:TS (with SCI eligibility)

Blue Sky Innovators is seeking an experienced Combat Aviator Subject Matter Expert (SME)to serve as the Department of the Air Force authority on F-35 and F-22 Special Access Program (SAP) classification guidance. This position is central to safeguarding the nations most advanced 5th-generation capabilities.

What Youll Do:

Serve as the primary SME for the F-35 and F-22 Security Classification Guides (SCGs)ensuring consistent accurate classification decisions across all Air Force and joint activities.
Provide authoritative guidance and adjudication for all SAP-related classification determinationsinvolving 5th-generation aircraft technologies missions and weapon systems.
Coordinate with DAF SAP Central Office DODSAPCO and SAF/IA to ensure aligned compliant security policy execution.
Support foreign disclosure international engagement and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) reviews with expert-level classification recommendations.
Participate in F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) and cross-service security coordination forums.

What You Bring:

15 years of USAF Special Access Program experience.
Deep expertise in low observable (LO) / counter-LO (CLO)technologies and 5th-generation aircraft systems.
Proven experience interpreting and applying Security Classification Guidesfor advanced aircraft programs.
Exceptional communication and coordination skills across military government and industry partners.
Active TS clearance (SCI eligibility required).
