Were looking for an experienced and driven Automotive Controller to lead our accounting department and oversee all financial operations for the dealership. This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to make a direct impact on our continued growth and success.
What Youll Do
Oversee all dealership accounting functions including Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Payroll and the General Ledger.
Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
Ensure all financial reporting meets Ford Motor Company and regulatory requirements.
Manage cash flow banking relationships and internal financial controls.
Reconcile floor plan and inventory accounts.
Lead train mentor and support the accounting staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Partner with department managers to monitor profitability control expenses and support strategic decisions.
Develop and manage budgets forecasts and financial performance reports.
Coordinate external audits and tax filings.
What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (CPA preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of automotive accounting experience with at least 2 years in a Controller or Office Manager role.
Strong working knowledge of CDK (required).
Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.
Exceptional leadership organization and communication abilities.
A proactive analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
